Best Ecommerce Platform? WordPress & WooCommerce Vs. Alterna

I swear by WordPress, but when it comes to e-commerce websites I have been having issues with compatibility & theme/plugins not working with each other and new WP versions. Is this a pretty common issue with everyone else, or is it just me? Either way, does anyone have alternative recommendations on other platforms that abide by the following criteria:



1) Functional Reliability (not constantly having to update things and worry about issues)



2) Search engine friendly (allowing search engine friendly/clean URL structures not numbered, etc)



Any alternative advice from other e-commerce website owners.
